AWAN has participated in the much awaited AV gathering of the year, AV Marathon 2020. This is an exclusive run for members of the AV industry coming together for good fun, healthy living and community building.
AV Marathon 2020 - RUN 4 GREEN marks the beginning of green initiative in the AV Industry.
AWAN supports various causes involving the environment, animal welfare, wildlife conservation, children education, women empowerment, etc..
We have been an official sponsor of the prestigious 'Go Green AV marathon' for two consecutive years now- an initiative that is powered entirely by the women from the AV industry.
From raising awareness on various environmental issues like deforestation, pollution, etc. to planting saplings, participants of this marathon have done it all. Furthermore, all proceeds from this event was donated to the Sri Shankara Cancer foundation. This program is our humble effort at making a difference and to help make this planet a better place for all.
AWAN has been working closely with a local animal shelter called WSA (We Save Animals) Welfare Trust. We have been providing support to WSA, both monetarily and in kind.
After being blown away by the selfless dedication with which WSA's founder Mr. Praveen rescues diseased and injured animals and provides care for them, we are now committed to helping and supporting the trust as much as possible. What started off as a one time donation has now turned into a regular monthly practice.
We have been donating essential supplies and money on a monthly basis to the trust for almost three years now, in addition to providing funds on a case to case basis towards medical bills and rescue ops.
We have also helped create an exclusive website for the trust that is aimed at attracting more donors and also to provide regular updates to the existing donors on the many activities that WSA does from time to time. Do check out their website here- www.wesaveanimalsindia.com
